Moshe learned locksmith’s work and engraving. In 1940 he was enlisted in a forced labor unit, escaped and, in October 1944, arrived in Budapest. He joined his movement’s underground activities. He distributed food coupons to Jews hiding in the city and, wearing a fascist Arrow Cross uniform, he took Jewish families from their homes to a secure place. Moshe stayed at the “Glass House” on Vadász Street.
He made aliya in 1945 and joined Kibbutz Ha’ogen. Later, he left the kibbutz. He was a resident of Tivon. Moshe wrote an autobiography “My Life in those Days”, published by “Maarechet” in 1994.
